Our updated itinerary. I'm still hoping for one more dining reservation change, trying to move breakfast at 'Ohana at the Polynesian to another morning, but otherwise we're looking set. Also trying to figure out the best time to hit the water park, but that will of course depend on the weather. We're praying for sunny skies, not the solid week of rain my mom and I had last time we went in June. Thoughts?

Breakfast @ 'Ohana (we'd like to move this if we can)

Saturday, June 13th
We're going to try for the Space Shuttle Launch scheduled for 7:17am. Pray that is goes off as scheduled!
If all goes according to plan, we'll head to Disneyquest and have lunch there after we drop our rental car and spend some time there, and then also do miniature golf this day too if time allows.
Dinner @ Cinderella's Royal Table
We'll then catch Spectromagic and Wishes fireworks.
Sunday, June 14th
Animal Kingdom (9am open, see afternoon parade)/ Studios (9pm close)
Breakfast @ Boma (Animal Kingdom Lodge)
Lunch @ Flame Tree BBQ

This might be a good water park afternoon if the weather cooperates.

We might shift mini golf here if we don't have time earlier.

Disney quest makes me so ill, the 1st time we went I started to feel sick but ignored it, big mistake. I was throwing up all night, even on the way back to the car! I had to stay at the hotel the next day while everyone else went over to MGM. So I tried it again a few years later and the same thing started to happen, so I waited for John. That is one place I will never ever go again! It's strange because I can go on the tea cups and mission space and I feel fine!
ReplyDeleteI went to DQ twice when it was in Chicago and once or twice at WDW and I love it. I wish they still had it here. Jared is also a big fan. That's weird that it happened to you. too much noise? too much stimulation?
ReplyDeletemy mom had a similar thing happen to her after going on Mission Space for the very first time. She refuses to go on it again, even the "tame" side
ReplyDeleteIt made John feel sick too, but not nearly as bad as I was. I think because it was a split second behind, so when I looked left or right the screen didn't move as fast as I was looking and it was making me dizzy, if that makes any sense.
ReplyDeleteI feel like you're speaking a secret language for your trip plans since I've only been to Disney once when I was a kid... and I really only remember Figment ('cause we have a picture), the character brunch, the creepy Michael Jackson movie in 3D, and the Small World ride. :)
ReplyDeletehaha. We'' this si going on my 12th-ish trip (lost count). figment is still there, but in new form, the MJ movie was out years ago, and small world is still there in all it's glory. you need to go again!
