We've decided we're definitely going to try and see the space shuttle launch while we're in Florida. Our only debate now is whether or not to purchase tickets. Grandstand viewing is sold out, but we could still purchase Kennedy Space Center tickets and see the launch from there. The big hiccup is that tickets are non-refundable if you end up missing the launch due to reschedules (which are very common). Should we risk it and buy the tickets and hope the launch isn't delayed, or should we go a bit further away to Titusville, FL and view it from there for free but be further away?

Is there stuff to do at the Kennedy Space Center, in case it does get canceled? I think that option sounds way more impressive than the other one. :)
ReplyDeleteI guess the main question, though, is: how much do you value this experience?
